Sifted, the European tech publication launched in partnership with the Financial Times, has published its Sifted 100: Southern Europe 2026 leaderboard. Dost has been ranked #21.
The list recognises the 100 fastest-growing startups across Southern Europe, covering Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Malta, Cyprus, San Marino and Andorra.
The Sifted 100 is not built on self-nominations or editorial picks. Sifted ranks companies based on verified revenue growth data, collected and validated independently. That methodology is what makes the list meaningful. Getting to #21 is a statement about what the business has actually built and sold, not about how well it has told its story.
It is also worth noting the timing. This ranking arrives in the same week as a separate recognition in an entirely different market. Two independent lists, two different geographies, different organisations behind each. We did not plan for them to land together. But the fact that they did reflects something consistent happening inside the business, across markets.
Dost is a native-AI platform that automates accounts payable and accounts receivable as a single, autonomous process, connected to the ERP from day one.
Founded in Barcelona in 2021 and now operating with a London office opened in October 2025, Dost has processed over five million accounting transactions across customers in ten countries.
The results our customers report are consistent:
The platform integrates natively with SAP, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sage 200, Sage Intacct, Sage X3 and Oracle from day one.
In late 2025, we closed our Series A at $7.8M to deepen our presence in the UK market, which we see as one of the most important opportunities for finance automation in Europe.
Adam Barbera, Co-founder and CEO at Dost:
"We started this company because finance teams were spending hours every day on work that has very little to do with what they were actually hired to do. Manual data entry, chasing approvals by email, reconciling spreadsheets that should have been connected automatically. We built Dost so that work stops getting in the way. The Sifted ranking tells us the market is responding. But what really tells me we are on the right track is when a finance director messages us to say their team finally has time to think instead of type."
Being recognised in two independent rankings within a week of each other is meaningful. But rankings are a measure of what has already happened.
Before looking ahead, we want to thank the people who made this possible. Our team, building this every day with the kind of focus and care that does not show up in any leaderboard. Our customers, who trusted Dost early and helped shape the product into what it is today. And our partners, walking this category forward alongside us.
What we are focused on next: building one of the most capable AI-native finance automation platforms in Europe, expanding our presence in the UK market, and continuing to deliver the kind of results that get finance teams asking why they waited so long to automate.
